Video: Rep. Gloria Mendoza – ‘Fentanyl is killing our loved ones and destroying our communities’
In her first Legislative Update video, 14th District Rep. Gloria Mendoza, R-Grandview, speaks of the shocking overdose death rate in Yakima County and throughout the state — primarily due to fentanyl. She also raises concerns about children accidentally ingesting fentanyl and that it is now one of the leading causes of child deaths in Washington state. Mendoza seeks citizen input on the problem and said it won’t disappear if the Legislature ignores it.
